Keep an eye on low health targets in range and your normal gun arc should also be a priority, unless you are in a BB and it is already heavily engaged. Eliminating any ship makes a significant difference, especially if done quickly. Many engagements start at 3v3 or 4v4, so even a one ship difference is huge.
